The BMW M3 is available in a few body styles: sedan, coupe, and convertible. All three styles are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that generates an impressive 414 horsepower. If more features are desired, the M3 also has multiple packages that can be added. The Cold Weather package adds heated front seats and retractable headlight washers. The Premium package enhances with BMW Assist telematics, power-folding auto-dimming mirrors, and Bluetooth capability. The Technology package adds a navigation system, electronic damping control, keyless ignition/entry and the iDrive electronics interface.
The sedan and coupe can be equipped with the Competition package, which includes EDC (electronic damping control), upgraded 19-inch wheels with high-performance tires and a lowered suspension.
Numerous standard safety features are included on the BMW M3. Features include anti-lock brakes, front seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, traction control, and stability control. The M3 convertible lacks side curtain airbags, but the front-side airbags extend up to head level.
